No one in my family had ever seen Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, so we were very excited for this leg of our winter vacation. Our initial introduction to the falls was by helicopter. We were swept up and away by Niagara Helicopters Limited for a fast but very fun sightseeing tour of the Niagara Falls area. We swooped and hovered over the falls for about 15 minutes while the audio tour guided us through what we were seeing. It’s a great story and a very whimsical way to be introduced to one of the most popular waterfalls in the world. The kids loved it, and since this was their first time in a helicopter it made it that much more special.

During the holiday season we took our kids on a cross-country train ride, and one of our stops was Toronto, Ontario, Canada. And, just as in the beginning of our trip in Vancouver, we stayed at the Four Seasons. This hotel is incredible. It’s the landmark hotel for Four Seasons, which means all the best things Four Seasons has to offer are within the walls of this beautiful space.

Ron White and the White Knight; a night of white - and spectacular shoes! Held annually at the stunning MacDonald Family Estate, the White Knight Gala is a fund-raising event thrown by the Ron White Foundation. Guests wore outfits of all white, allowing their dazzling footwear to steal the show. Revenue from tickets reaching past the $1000 mark were donated to Free The Children's GO Local initiative - a youth empowerment and leadership program.

Правда, more easily understood as Pravda Vodka Bar, is not the bar to bring your Capitalist friends. Pravda is a pleasantly rambunctious shrine that themes itself on Soviet Communism, vasts amount of Vodka, and Eastern European cuisine as the perfect compliment. While they don't do a political background check at their red lit front doors, they do restrict attendance to guests aged 25+.
