Emma Krasov is an award-winning journalist, a published author, and an avid world traveler, in search of joie de vivre. Born and raised in Kiev, she graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Ukraine, and used to work as a staff writer and a columnist for several publications, writing in Russian and Ukrainian.
After moving to the United States, she spent several years in Chicago, where she published and edited a Russian-language newspaper, and contributed to The Chicago Reader.
Currently, as a freelance writer and editor, based in San Francisco Bay Area, she is covering a wide range of topics from food and wine to art and travel for various print and online publications. She also leads tours at SFMOMA, and teaches a recreational creative writing class in Hayward, California.
