Kenyan Painter Geraldine RobartsJetset Extra visits with Kenya-based artist Geraldine Robarts, whose vibrant, brilliantly colored paintings are favorites of locals and tourists alike. Robarts' parents and grandparents were artists of one stripe or another, so she grew up with pencil and brush in hand, but it was her Baha'i faith and love of Kenyan culture that inspired such authentic, powerful works of art. Geraldine currently works with the local community to encourage others to turn traditional Masai arts and crafts into important sources of revenue.
